FAST AND EFFICIENT REVIEW OF CT ANGIOGRAPHY STUDIES
Angi is an advanced vessel analysis application designed to facilitate rapid and efficient segmentation and analysis of abdominal and peripheral computed tomography angiography (CTA) studies. The automated bone masking and vessel identification combined with intelligent editing tools provide an efficient and effective environment for assessing and quantifying stenosis and vascular disease.
Clinical Workflow acceleration
Angi’s automated background analysis processes CTA studies in preparation for subsequent review. This time-saving analysis includes bone removal, vessel identification, centerlining and labelling. Smart editing tools allow the technologist or radiologist to quickly review and edit the results of the automated analysis. Results can be saved in DICOM format using sophisticated preset protocols. In a clinical test, the high degree of automation and smart editing tools allowed technologists in a 3D processing lab to reduce their editing time for CTA studies from 30-45 minutes using a competitive system to 5 minutes using Angi.
KEY FEATURES:
- Automatic masking of bones
- Automatic vessel centerline detection and labelling of vessels
- Automatic thrombus segmentation
- Automatic calcified plaque segmentation
- “Smart” QA tools for editing results of automatic processing
- Unique "glass effect" presents the vessels in the context of nearby bones
- Cross-correlated stretched vessel views
- Lumen cross section and wall thickness analyzer
- Bookmarks support full state save/restore
- Automated and protocolized generation of reports including animations and representative views
Deployment
Angi is based on Claron’s “Withinsight Framework (WIF)” and is designed to be integrated into a host workstation environment. Alternatively, the underlying processing engines can be integrated into an existing vessel analysis application. Angi is designed to run in a Windows 64 bit environment (XP and later).
