We develop and market sophisticated image analysis and visualization software components and applications for the medical device market, as well as a family of unique stereoscopic pose-tracking products. Amongst Claron’s customers are top-tier diagnostic imaging and medical device companies, and many of the most prestigious medical centers in North-American, Europe, China and Japan. Our analysis and visualization software is currently used by technologists and clinicians at over 4,000 locations worldwide.

The company’s executive team has a rich experience base, separately and together, of developing sophisticated 3D imaging and graphics systems.

Doron Dekel, Founder and co-CEO, is a computer engineer with 27 years of experience, including many years in executive positions at fast-growing startups. He is responsible for developing some of the world’s fastest and most feature-rich medical 3D systems and for initiating and overseeing the development of the first Surgical Navigation product, ISG’s Viewing Wand. He is the inventor or co-inventor of over 10 imaging-related patents, issued or pending.

Claudio Gatti, Founder and co-CEO, is a software engineer with over 20 years of experience in video and image processing, 3D graphic rendering and architecting complex software systems. He has been a key contributor to several world class visualization systems at Cedara Software, Alias and R2. Claudio has two issued and one pending patents, and has been an executive for over 6 years in different startups.

Sandra Stapleton, Executive & Director, Algorithmics, MSc. (Medical Biophysics) has over 15 years experience in advanced processing of medical imaging data, including over 6 years Executive experience at several startups, including R2 Technology and Claron. Sandra led the productization of the industry’s first CAD products in Digital Mammography and Thoracic CT.

We pride ourselves on developing simple solutions to difficult problems. Our designs start out very simple and elegant. We add complexity only to the degree necessary to meet additional requirements. Many times during our careers, this approach allowed us to bring world-leading products to market in record times. Due to their simplicity, our products are fast, reliable, and easy to use, evolve and maintain.

We are fiscally conservative, keeping a minimal operational overhead and a positive cash flow. The corporation carries no operational debt and has been profitable since it was founded in 2001.
